Why do all of the threads get locked? I know it's heated, but there is nothing wrong with debating here. It's freedom of speech so can we continue to have a friendly debate? As for your last post Samuri in the other thread....What does immigration laws and jailed inmates have to deal with U.S. citizens losing our rights? I fully support shutting down the borders. Yes...Mexicans do help run our economy, but when I see everything turning espanol within America it bothers me. Most crime rates in the southwest are created by illegal mexicans who happen to be drug dealers, gang members ect. This isn't being racist...I believe we do need to make green card requirements easier to obtain, but the border needs to be controlled in case a foreign country takes advantage of our weakness. Like I said again Samuri. All of your googled facts have nothing to do with U.S. citizens losing there rights. You have gone off subject and brought up illegal alien immigration which has nothing to do with my or your personal rights. None of the things you presented in your post had anything to do with us losing our rights. Some had to do with injustice which is true, but that's been going on for centuries. Present me with some REAL facts. Not ones you google. I know you didn't come up with that stuff on your own..nice try. Oh and when you do come up with some "other" facts make sure they have to deal with the issue were discussing..not dealing with illegal immigration.

@ 1ggy from the last thread: I'm on leave from clan activity, not from telling you how it is. ;] And, to stay on topic, I agree with Devil-Dog and find Samurai's speedy jump toward hostility out of place.

Revolution? My god...do you want the U.S. to turn into another Iraq? You guys watch too much CNN. The media brainwashes you. The economy is NOT as bad as the media makes it out to be. Yes the economy is not that strong, but it's not to the point where we will never get out of it. The economy goes through recessions people. We don't stay in a recession for long..It can take a couple months to a few years to get out of a recession, but we will in time and when we do the economy will be strong again. All of you have to realize that the media makes everything out 10X's worse then it is. Ive had numerous Marine buddies laugh at how badly the media says the war in Iraq is. It's not as big of a mess as people think it is. It's not as violent as people believe it is. Yet the media has brainwashed the public enough to where the people think Iraq is a lost cause when it really isn't. Oh and one more thing to all of you who say the war in Iraq is wrong or i illegal..until you strap on that gear and go out and risk your life for your country..don't talk.

i have nothing but respect for the military but why every week theres 20 or 30 more names released? and if the economy is so bad why are people walking out on their mortgages and seeting their homes on fire?

20 or 30 deaths a week? Are you serious? Check your facts man. There is not that many KIA's in Iraq per week. My recruiter has been to Iraq 3 times and hasn't even shot at anything or been shot at...same goes for a lot of Marines and Soldiers. It's not as bad as it may look. Ive had close friends go there and they have even said the media makes it out 10x worse. As for the mortgages....There not as bad as setting your house on fire...thats a bit extreme. If we can get out of the Great Depression we can get out of our economic downfall...

I have the utmost respect for soldiers who "Strap on the gear and risk their lives," but why should they have to for something that is illegal and is wrong. The UN was created for a reason and they found nothing wrong with Iraq, yet we still invaded, and we are still there. Why should our soldiers die for something this stupid. Devildog, everyone here has presented evidence that our rights are being violated, unless you dont consider things such as privacy as a right. If that is true then you are correct, we have lost no rights, yet.

Your all blind to what REALLY goes on. The media has turned all of you against the Bush administration. I for one support the commander in chief. Bush handled 9/11 like any other person would. If you were attacked you would go to war as well. Now i know some of you will argue why did we attack Iraq? They had nothing to do with 9/11. It's true Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 but evidence show ties with Hussein and Osama and evidence also showed clear evidence of WMD's in Iraq. It wasn't Bush's fault. He trusted the CIA to do there job and went off of that. Some will say its for oil. Well that may be some what true but that's not the entire reason. Terrorists from all over the Middle East have entered Iraq to fight our forces. Were working hard on building a government that will let the Iraqi people have the same freedoms as we do here. Were building hospitals and schools for the children. Don't say ignorant things like our soldiers are dieing because of administration lies......it's pretty sad when the American people think our soldiers and Marines died in vain. You say you support the military Marky yet you say our men and women died for lies. So what your telling me is that they died for nothing. Thats really nice of you to say man. Think before you speak. For those of you who have been brain washed by the media...I'm sorry. I guess your missing the great things our military is doing for the Iraqi people/ I see it, but obviously you don't.

Iggy lay back on the swearing kid. I don't want this post locked as well. Our government isn't perfect, but tell me..what country's is? Yes our government has made a lot of mistakes, but does it really affect your personal life? I mean come on people. We still have all the rights and freedoms we have had since the beginning of America. I would much rather have my government invading my privacy to keep my country i love safe then have them miss a person that is here to destroy New York City. You guys blow things out of context. Your all so worried about your privacy..who gives a crap...the government already knows everything about you anyways. This is just your way of creating some sort of conspiracy....I can't believe I'm even arguing with people who have no idea of what's going on. They just read the news and base there implications on that. THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T GO AROUND LOOKING INTO SOMEONES LIFE FOR NO REASON. THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THE U.S. FOR THAT TO EVEN BE POSSIBLE. GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULLS. All of you are being worry warts. Your scared the government will see the porn sites you looked at? Or the convo you had with your gf? haha give me a break people...wake the heck up and realize its for your own good.

You can blame the CIA all you want, but if Bush wouldn't have been pushing to invade Iraq so much this would have never happened. He is the one who went before the UN and requested weapons inspectors, who found nothing, yet he still went in. And the CIA is part of the administration, you act as if they are entirely seperate entities. The Bush administration staffs the CIA. And you attack Marky for saying they died for lies, which is entirely true. They died to destroy WMD's that were never there. I totally respect what these soldiers did, they followed orders and gave up their lives for our country, but they shouldn't have had to. The Bush administration caused their deaths.

Devildog, How can you not consider privacy a right? When the government takes away your privacy, thats when the government becomes the enemy. Soon they use this legislation to spy on political enemies, and then make them dissapeer. And do not tell me I am blowing this out of proportion. Privacy is one of the basic rights of humans, and when that is taken away people need to cause an uproar. How you can live with no privacy shocks me. And you say this law will keep us safe? How many so-called terrorists have they stopped using this? Almost none, otherwise we would have heard about it. How many peoples rights have they violated? Thousands, if not more. They based these not off evidence, but off such things as race or religion. That is why this is entirely wrong, we are racially profiling.

Troops overseas are not dying in vain nor because of 'administration lies'. I made a video a while back that some may recall (Video Here) Army enlistment rates went up 6% during the Iraqi conflict. The draft has never been activated, and this past July 4th 2008, approximately 1,215 troops re-enlisted into their respective branches. (Troops Re-enlistment archive) I do believe that the ending in We Were Soldiers stated something like "They did not fight for freedom, they did not fight for their country, in the end they fought for each other". Anyone who believes there were no WMD's in Iraq is a fool. Iraq made a career of using WMD against both Iran and the Kurds. Poison gas is a WMD, isn't it? Or have the news folks lied often enough that you believe them? Iraq produced poison gas which was being transported for an Al Qaeda attack on Jordan that would have delivered hat same WMD which Iraq was producing and was in transit used in an attack in Jordan. Two tanker trucks full of gas were to be exploded in an attack on the US Embassy, the Jordanian secret police, and the royal palace as I recall. Google has it under "jordan poison terror" lots of places. Iraq had a very big effort to produce nuclear weapons before we attacked them. That effort was at its heart a fake, but not even Saddam's own commanders knew that. The entire intelligence agencies of all the major western governments were convinced of that nuclear program's reality. It was all a fake to keep Iran off balance, which is why Saddam couldn't call us off with proof - it would mean Iran would have nothing to stop them once they got moving. This leaves out the effect of a President who takes seriously death threats against our citizens. Remember Libya? They were seriously trying to produce nuclear weapons and decided it wasn't worth the threat of facing an angry United States. One enemy of freedom and friend of terror discouraged from continuing that. Iran is posing a much more serious threat. Don't wave the United Nations at us either. They are well known for going nowhere and cheating on their own funding sources. Remember Kofi Annan and his son? Iran just launched a missile able to reach many countries in that region including all of Israel, and that wasn't the first time. Peace in our time will never be won by compromising, just like that didn't slow Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo. It will only be kept as long as the US poses a serious threat to the authoritarian governments who insist on threatening their neighbors AND our citizens.

zicker...more goes on in this country then you know kid. Plots have been uncovered using what you call a violation of the constitution. You think you would hear about them!? hahahaha. The government keep things under wrap. They keep you little butt safe at night. The CIA, FBI, DEA, ATF all keep your ass safe at night while you sleep in your little cozy beds. I have numerous family members in the government who risk there life day in and day out to make sure you ass is safe and you have the nerve to say they are the enemy? The military is also a part of the government genius. So when you say you think the government is the enemy your saying the very soldiers who protect your rights are the enemy. To be honest all of you are worthless. Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. Most of you always WANT WANT WANT. Have any of you put anything into this country? No you haven't done jack. You moan about your rights being taken away while our soldiers are out taking bullets for your ass. STOP your complaining. Yall need to wakeup and be grateful for what you have. Your blessed to be an American. Be proud. Oh and Marky. You complain about the economy yet your unemployed living in your mothers basement. Our economy is struggling due to the employment rate going down..so go get a job.
