Corporal
- Must be Squad NCO or Acting Squad Leader
- NCO graduation must be same night or prior to promotion
E-4CPL -
Sergeant
- Must be Squad Leader
- May be Acting Platoon Leader
- 70% or higher overall attendance while E-4
E-5SGT -
Staff Sergeant
- Must be a Platoon Leader
- 80% or higher overall attendance while E-5
- May become a qualified NCOA Trainer
E-6SSG -
Sergeant First Class
- Must be 1st Platoon Leader
- May be Acting 1st Sgt
- 85% or higher overall attendance while E-6
E-7SFC -
First Sergeant
- Must be filling the branch E-8 position
- Must have 1 year total in the clan
- 90% or higher overall attendance while E-7
- Must have shown that they are an extraordinary leader in their branch as well as an exceptional NCO
- If any disciplinary action is taken against a member holding this rank, that will be reviewed by JCS and Upper Command to determine if they should remain at this paygrade. E-8 NCO's are the model that everyone else measures themselves against. Any infractions mean they are not living up to the standards of an E-8 and this will be reviewed.
E-81SG -
Sergeant Major of the Army
- Promotion to E-9 Clan SMA is entirely at the discretion of the Clan CO/XO and Upper Command
- If any disciplinary action is taken against a member holding this rank, that will be reviewed by Battalion Command and Upper Command to determine if they should remain at this paygrade. The Clan SMA is the top NCO and therefore will be held accountable to the highest possible standard for an NCO and clan leader
E-9SMA -
Warrant Officer 1
- Must be taking a Battalion Staff position
- Requires approval from the Battalion CO/XO
- Minimum enlisted rank where a member may be considered to move to WO-1 is E-6
- This is a probationary rank to demonstrate the move to Warrant is appropriate
WO-1WO1 -
Chief Warrant Officer 2
- Must have maintained excellent performance in their Battalion Staff position
- Must not have received any disciplinary action during the 3m probationary period
- Must be approved by Battalion CO/XO
WO-2CW2 -
Chief Warrant Officer 3
- Must have maintained excellent performance in their Battalion Staff position
- Must not have received any disciplinary action during the 6m TIG
- Must be approved by Battalion CO/XO
WO-3CW3 -
Chief Warrant Officer 4
- Must have maintained excellent performance in their Battalion Staff position
- Must not have received any disciplinary action during the 12m TIG
- Must be approved by Battalion CO/XO and Upper Command
WO-4CW4 -
Chief Warrant Officer 5
- Entirely at the discretion of Battalion CO/XO and Upper Command
WO-5CW5 -
Officer Cadet
- Requires JCS vote
- This is the rank for those that start a new company or take over a company and have not completed OCS.
- Once OCS has been completed and TIG met, member will be promoted to O-1
- Minimum rank: E3P
- If failure to obtain O-1, then member reverts back to last enlisted rank honorably held AND a position for that rank
O-1*CDT -
Second Lieutenant
- Requires JCS vote
- This is the expected starting rank for all officers.
- This is a probationary rank to demonstrate the move to officer ranks is appropriate. If any disciplinary action is taken against a member holding this rank, that will be reviewed by JCS and Upper Command to determine if they should remain at this paygrade
- This will be the rank given to any member who meets criteria of building a successful new Company OR will be taking over a new company of an existing game and has passed OCS.
- This is the standard rank for Branch XOs
O-12LT -
First Lieutenant
- Must not have received any disciplinary action during the 3 month probationary period at O-1 rank. Exceptions to this are only granted by Division/Intel CO or higher
- Must have discharged their responsibilities and maintained consistently exceptional performance as O-1
- This is the Maximum rank for Branch XOs, Starting Rank for Battalion /S3
- TIG: For S-3 Min of 3 Months; For CO’s Minimum 6 months as O-1; for XO minimum 9 months as O-1
O-21LT -
Captain
- Maximum rank for Company CO, starting rank for Battalion XO
- Must have discharged their responsibilities and maintained consistently exceptional performance as O-2
- Minimum rank to be considered for RET
- TIG for CO’s 6 months Min, For Battalion S3 6 months
O-3CPT -
Major
- Maximum Rank for Battalion XO/S-3, Starting Rank for Battalion CO
- TIG for Battalion XO 9 months Min, For S-3 9 months
O-4MAJ -
Lieutenant Colonel
- Maximum Rank for Battalion CO, Starting Rank for Brigade CO
- TIG for Brigade CO 3 mths, Battalion CO 6 months Min
