Well while training with the Army I had a chance (for once) to travel to a cool city called Las Vegas, NV. I started gambling with $100 bucks and ended my time there with 1400 take home. So I used some of that money to get me a couple new parts.

This Upgrade is only the beginning. I only ordered these part because I already have everything else I need.

Very nice sir. Was thinking of getting the same Cooler you posted. Tell me how you like it.

EDIT:

What GPU and PS do you have already?

Sir that is beautiful. Super glad you went with the RipJawZ Z.. G.Skill makes great ram.. You might want to double check on the G.Skill Ares Blue Low profile DDR 17000 2133 ram. That will make a difference in that motherboard. You don't want to bottle neck that 2011 CPU with 1600 ram. Just a suggestion from your friendly daily system builder ;)

I am jealous. 3 year old laptop versus that, I guess I will just keep shuffling the paperwork.

I did think about that, but the CPU memory control is only rated for DDR3 1600. So I was thinking if that's the case, the CPU would bottle neck my system. Hopefully by the end of the year they come out with higher rated CPU for the memory controller.

Ok its all set up and ready. It takes 3 seconds to fully boot from windows log in. It takes 15 seconds from POST. It is blazing quick, loving it. :D

Can't wait to play some BF3 and ME3 to see how it holds up!

I like the H80 CPU cooler too. It runs my CPU at 19c on idle and I think 50c under load. Very impressed by it.
