Ok. I got 2x XFX Radeon HD 6970 2GB wich I run in crossfire.

I am struggeling with finding my 2nd screen to be able to run with 2 screens. this is what happends.

Card 1 as primary card:

Main screen = exit 1 = OK

Sec Screen = Exit 2 = false

Main screen = exit 2 = false

Sec Screen = Exit 1 = ok

Card 2 as primary card:

Main screen = exit 1 = OK

Sec Screen = Exit 2 = false

Main screen = exit 2 = false

Sec Screen = Exit 1 = ok

Ofc I am using exit 1 and 2 in the same card.

But what ever I do my PC cannot find the 2nd screen.

What connection are you using? I would guess DVI? Since there in crossfire just use both DVI ports on card one. Crossfire automaticly disables the video out on card two in CF. Also check you advanced setting in th ATI pannel, for whatever reason it tries to defual to tv out and won't recognize the displays till its disabled. Mine does it after each update? :(

If your usings HDMI however I will have to look at my control panel when I get home.

I am using DVI to VGA. Got VGA in the screen and DVI in the card.

Ofc I am using the ports on the same card (main card) and I know CF canseles the other outputs. Alltho. What do you mean with "Default to TV"

How do I change that?

Make sure your under advanced and not basic inside the AMD Vision Engine. Go to "Detect Display's" under "Common Display Tasks" and see what the card is detecting, then go to "Creating and Arranging Desktops" and select your default.

Are you under advanced or standard view or can you post a screen shot?
