Guest Oxygen5
I'm planning to buy a new laptop with the below specifications, please tell me what you think. Thanks. Laptop: HP Envy-15-k003nx Local Cost: $1,226.4 Specs: 2 GHz Intel Core i7-4510U with Intel HD Graphics 4400 Microprocessor 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (2 x 8 GB) Memory NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M (4 GB DDR3 dedicated) Video Graphics 39.6 cm (15.6") diagonal HD LED-backlit touch screen (1366 x 768) Display 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA Hard Drive SuperMulti DVD burner Multimedia Drive Wireless Intel 802.11ac (2x2) and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Power: 90 W AC power adapter 4-cell (41 WHr) Li-ion For me I think its quite ideal, it doesn't matter to me whenever I'm playing on medium or high settings. It would be great if I can play higher than 30 or 40 fps. Plus I move a lot so bringing my gaming rig will be the best option.
Guest RET.Maj.Buckshot=US=
Should be a good laptop, though HP is almost never my first choice simply because of the cost for what you get (and the bloatware). Maybe take a look at some similar options from ASUS or MSI (I've got an MSI GT70 w/ a GTX 770M). If the HP makes more sense for you and your getting a good deal, by all means go for it. You can't really make a bad choice here.
