I can just imagine this thread turning into a, "sales mistakes" thread.

 

I remember a time where i was quite young and wasn't up to date with release dates and what not. I had saved up for months and really wanted to play pokemon, so i had to buy a nintendo, so i went to the store and bought a Gameboy SP and pokemon. Not a week from that day, the gameboy DS came out and the gameboy SP went down to half price.
