Guest Arrow
Hey guys, looking for some help.Whenever I go on Youtube, the videos begin playing like normal, but when I change the resolution, I get the "An error occurred. Please try again later." message.I've updated flash player, shockwave and opera. It occurs on Opera, Chrome, and IE (only browsers I have installed). If you need any more info please ask. Thanks for the help.
Guest MilkyDG_sT
Try playing a video then right clicking on the video and select settings. Then under display settings try un-checking "Hardware acceleration" This helped me when youtube was being moody.
Guest Arrow
Thanks that worked, but can anyone explain why?
Guest MilkyDG_sT
there was an update in the "official" youtube player that doesn't agree with hardware acceleration....but oh well!!!...At least it's fixed now, YAYY!!!!
Guest Arrow
It stopped working again, with and without hardware acceleration :)
Guest MilkyDG_sT
Well first off I would recommend getting rid of those browsers and going OPEN SOURCE to Firefox. Give that a try.
Guest soco
Other solutions that have been suggested: 1) Clear cache 2) Clear cookies 3) Youtube videos can be opened in pop-out mode (i.e. right click on video) in chrome at least that seemed to fix my buffer issue until it magically started working again
Guest Arrow
I found the issue. We had a sprint airrave (boosts connection in our house) that wasn't allowing youtube through it's router. Plugged my modem straight to my router and everything worked again.
