Guest Halabrad Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Live feed of Felix Baumgartner base jumping 120,000 feet, on the edge of space! he's going to attempt to break the speed of sound in a freefall http://www.redbullstratos.com/live
Guest RET.LT.Padarom=US= Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Thanks for the link Sergeant! Knew about that, got advertised in the radio over 5 million times today (Felix is Austrian => Speaks German :)) but couldn't find a good stream/infopage about it. The launch just got cancelled for today by the Mission Coordinator due to guisty winds. Unfortunately no man flying the speed of sound today :(
Guest Halabrad Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I just saw that and I was really bummed out. Maybe tomorrow....
Guest Gadzooks Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 And his ascemt just passed 60,000 ft. Halfway up there!
Guest RET.LT.Padarom=US= Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Now it becomes serious. Good luck Baumgartner!
Guest Halabrad Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Highest ever documented skydive at just over 128,000 ft. Only a few seconds shy of the longest free fall as well
