Guest PainKiller Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 So my current guess is that the reason I go from 60 FPS down to 5 FPS randomly in BF3 is because "throttling" is on or something like that on my processor settings. I did alt tab out of game and I saw my CPU at 100% and went from 3500 to 885 Mhz then back to 70% and 3500Mhz Can anyone help me turn the setting off? Guest MAJ.Spartan-S63=US= Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 I had that issue with my 1090T. Anyway, a possible fix would be to go into the BIOS and disable AMD Cool 'n Quiet. It may or may not solve the problem. Another options is to disable both AMD CnQ and also C1E support on the CPU. It won't let it underclock the CPU to conserve voltage and power.
