I went to the verizon store and was first in line at 730 am they opened at 8 am. Only 5 people showed up at the store. I've barely messed with any iPad but I do think they're cool -- just can't find a truly legit reason to drop that kind of money down for a "toy". I got the 1st generation iPad when the 2nd generation came out. I got it as a toy, but I use it for work more than playing, internet, & email.
