Guest DragonBoon Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Hello Gentleman, just as the title says I have some serious problems with TS not probarly working voice recognition and the overlay plugin. I can't get it working to make TS say teammate names when they choin the channel I'm in. If I activate the overlay plugin I get weird statics and can't understand a single word people in TS are saying. I've pretty much searched everything here in the forum and google to solve the problem. I reinstalled TS to install the English instead of the German version without a positive result. I've tried all the settings that our tutorial threads are offering, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I have Windows 7 64bit professional installed. I know from using Voice Activation Commands, that I don't have support for English text to speech in Windows. you only get this with the ultimate version of Windows 7, could it be related to this? I had to tick Default Text to Speech in the Status option of TS additionally to the one in notification settings, and had to tick 'Enforce Loading' in the Overlay Plugin settings. Followed the two tutorials about setting up TTS and the overlay plugin 2. Updated my soundcard driver 3. Then in TS restarted the setup assistance and deactivated volume control (which solved the sound issues I had rendering BF3 with very low volume) http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/1tbiggj8/thumb/Bild5.pnghttp://img6.imagebanana.com/img/87rpt2wp/thumb/Bild6.png 5. Then activated enforce loading in the overlay plugin settings (which solved the OP problem) http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/4j0xakjm/thumb/Bild1.png 6. Additionally to setting up TST in TS settings, I also had to set up TST in the status tab (Which solved TTSproblem). !!!Make sure to not deactivate it by clicking on it again!!! !!!I figured out that this process eventually has to be redone everytime you start TS!!! http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/00qchk5i/thumb/Bild2.png Make sure to deactivate Origin ingame.
