Hello Soldiers,

I'm trying to find a decent clan that offers more then just the daily chat on teamspeak. I'm currently a member of the OG clan, but since it shows that this clan is more like a coffee club then a clan, I think I've made the wrong decission. I already filled out the application data over here, just to figure out that XFire seems to be needed. So is it absolutely essential to have XFire installed? I'm already using Steam and Origin, so if I don't necessarily have to use XFire I'm trying to avoid it.

I'm from Germany, if that's a problem. And the only barrier that stands between us, I can't join team meetings on Friday night cause of the different time zones, though I would really like to be part of it. Is there a team meeting for europe members? Do you plan to set up a europe branch for your clan?

Other obstacles? I'm partly deaf, but using headphones solves this problem. Also, my English is a bit rusted, so don't expect me to speak as well as I write English, but I think it's enough to understand and transpose commands and give tactical input on Teamspeak.

Would appreciate your answer, have fun.

Hey there!

I can assure you distance around the world is not a problem in the clan. We have a Navy branch that is filled with members from all around Europe, from England, to Sweden and i myself am from Australia and the main body of the clan is North American. To account for the time difference between members the meeting is held at 8:30 EST on a Friday, this seems to be a time the majority of members can make it(its a weekend for Euro guys and myself). However its understandable that sometimes its just not possible. All the clan meetings are recorded and posted online so you won't miss anything and the Navy branch does have a meeting at a time that Euro members can make.

We would prefer if you have xFire, or at least an xFire account as it allows us to easily contact you, however i'm sure a recruiter will respond with the specific requirements. And as long as you speak basic English, you'll do fine + we have a member that can speak some German.

All the branch's have competition teams(Army, Navy and Marines) meaning you will be able to compete against other people close to you, and once you get your Basic Training done you'll be on your way to competing in scrims and competitions like ESL and TWL. So if competition is your thing we've got it. We also do regular training and have Military occupation specialisations(MOS), that allow you to specialise in certain area's, and receive extra training and qualify to take priority in certain roles such as tank drivers in clan scrims. But you'll learn more about this through a recruiter.

Once again, i hope you enjoy the clan!

Hey man,

It's really easy to set up your XFire. It's an requirement though. There's absolutely no problem that you are from Germany. Im from the Netherlands myself.

Dont worry about the meetings, if you are from europe, you dont have to attend them. But the clan excist from 4 different branches, which all 4 of them have their own meetings/practices, which you have to attend. Since you are europe, you will be places in the eu navy (atm 31 euro members). As long as you can speak basic english and cant understand us most of the time, it's all good. And we are glad to help you if needed. One last thing, if you want to join our clan, you need to be fully discharged from another clan, otherwise joining is not possible.

I hope I answered all your questions!

EDIT: Looks like SGM.Thieving already helped you ;)

Hi there,

As others have already mentioned we house players from all across the world. As stated this clan is Eastern based time zone but generally speaking there's always people on. Regarding your need for a organised clan over a coffee club well you've come to the right place. I've been around here for about a week and have really enjoyed myself, there's always something going on, whether its Monday night madness, air combat practise or just gaming.

Great place cool people, enough said.

Regards,

Ryan.
