Guest SoundOfDeath
Two of the new recruits that I went through the orientation today had set up their Text to speech options correctly but still only heard "user has joined your channel" etc. They have the same version as me and I don't have that problem. Any ideas what it could be?
Guest RET.WO1.Pieman=US=
Have they done their E-0 yet? The chapter 5 part normally gets it done. Do they have the drop down box set to "Default test to speech"?
Guest SoundOfDeath
Yes they had everything set up properly.
Guest RET.WO1.Pieman=US=
Okay. I'll handle this when they come for E-0s. Thanks for the warnings.

Guest xprowlerx
I had the same problem. But if you go to the drop down menus before connecting to our server i.e. 'connections -> connect 'and in the popup window you need to press 'more'. There in the lower right hand sight you need to set to 'default text to speech'. For some reason it didn't changed when I set the options for notifications during the BCT. Guest RET.SSgt.Haterade=US=
Setting the notifications correctly has nothing to do with Text-to-Speech. For that, you have to change the sound pack. Sounds like there might have been a breakdown in communication somewhere between trainer and recruit.
