I know some other people in the clan have the i5 2500k processor, I was wondering how hot does it and the cores get while playing BF3?

i5 try running on a laptop core 2 duo. And the bottom of the laptop gets hot enough to easily burn skin, I have the scar to prove it :)

What I use to OC my i7 930 and my i5 2500k. It's not bad, but if you're going to go to the extremes OC'ing (4.7-4.8 ghz) then you have the option to attach another fan onto the heat sinks.

if you

Also what helps is the thermal paste. The one it comes with is crappy. I suggest Arctic 5 compounds. I generally say conductive, but if you want to play safe get non-conductive.

EDIT: Also it's a 120mm fan as well, so it's pretty quite. :3
