Guest BigMac530
I pre-orderd Modern Warfare 3 on steam and they gave me a free copy of COD4. I start the game, make a profile, fix the graphics settings. I set my filters and when i click to join ANY server it says "CD-Key In Use". What? I was just given the game for free by Steam, how can it be in use? Any suggestions?
Guest SoundOfDeath
I am disappoint. Really, you preordered MW3 when it's coming out not 2 weeks after BF3 and that's what the whole clan is going to be playing? Seriously though, I haven't a clue about what your problem is. Guest PainKiller
Is it bad to play two games? I don't care if he plays MW3 as long as he still owns in BF3 =P I don't know how to fix your problem BigMac but maybe you should contact steam and see what they have to say. that's all I got for now. If i find anything out ill make sure to contact you Via Pm here or on TS
Guest MAJ.Spartan-S63=US=
Key in use means just what it says. The key is in use. Your key is legitimate, but it's possible a person using a keygen randomly got your key and if the same key is in use, you're out of luck. It was a problem three (or four, whichever it is) years ago when the game first came out.
Guest BigMac530
So IF thats the case, i would have to buy the game again or what?
Guest MAJ.Spartan-S63=US=
You could contact Steam and see if they'd be nice enough to give you another key to try. Otherwise, keep trying to play a game until you get in. That will give the other person using your key the message you're getting now and hopefully discourage them from using that key again.
