Guest D.Whitehurst Posted August 29, 2011 Share Posted August 29, 2011 Ok so I have spent pretty much all day doing testing, taking cpus out and what not todo gaming test vs CPU's so here's what i got ***ALL TESTING IS DONE WITH A ATI Radeon HD 5770 @ 1680 x 1024 @ 60Hz & 4Gigs of Ram*** And In BC2 Max Settings = EVERYTHING ON HIGH INCLUDING HBAO.... *ALSO ALL AVG. Were Made up of FRAPS AFTER A 5 MINUTE FPS Test. Also!!!! Tested on every map!!!!! in BC2 then Avg'ed out... I know I went Full Force Mize well if i wanted to get accurate Information.... Max Settings: 15FPS Avg. ***AT THIS POINT THIS PROCESSOR WAS BOTTLENECKING AGINST GPU :(*** AMD Phenom II x 1Core @ 2.4Ghz Low Settings: 22 FPS Avg. High Settings: 19 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 17 FPS Avg. ***STILL BOTTLENECKING WITH GPU*** AMD Phenom II x 1Core @ 3.2Ghz Low Settings: 44 FPS Avg. High Settings: 40 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 37 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 86 FPS Avg. ***OUT OF ALL TESTS THIS ONE ABOVE SEEMED TO GET THE MAXED AVG. FPS!!! GUESS IS... PERFECT FOR BC2 WITH THE 5770....*** AMD Phenom II x 4Cores @ 2.4Ghz Low Settings: 73 FPS Avg. High Settings: 67 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 65 FPS Avg. AMD Phenom II x 4Cores @ 3.3Ghz Low Settings: 103 FPS Avg. High Settings: 85 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 63 FPS Avg. AMD Phenom II x 4Cores @ 3.6Ghz Low Settings: 124 FPS Avg. High Settings: 94 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 69 FPS Avg. AMD Phenom II x 4Cores @ 4.2Ghz Low Settings: 140 FPS Avg. High Settings: 100 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 70 FPS Avg. SO! under my advice for BC2 if you have a AMD Phenom II Series CPU with the 5770 Run it with 3 Cores @ 3.6Ghz @ 1680 x 1024 Res. @ 60Hz. All tests were done atlest 3 times , to verify relibility.... and this was done with the following as stated also above. Game: Bad Company 2 Map(s): All Maps Several Times Monitor Res: 1680 x 1024 @ 60Hz Settings Tested: (ALL LOW NO AA/AF, ALL HIGH NO AA/AF, ALL HIGH AA/AF) Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB 850Mhz/1200Shaders (Stock) CPU(s): AMD Athlon 64 3800+ (2.4Ghz), AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE (3.2Ghz), AMD Phenom x2 II 555 BE Calisto (3.2Ghz), AMD Phenom II x3 3.2Ghz Heka Ram: 4 Gigs DDR2 1066 @ 2.2 Volts Overclocking done in M4A77D Bios. The AMD Athlon 64 3800+ was overclocked to 5.2Ghz and here were the results... Low Settings: 25 FPS Avg. High Settings: 23 FPS Avg. Maxed Settings: 15 FPS Avg. So nothing Changed there... I put that one last because so people would read the entire thing... :) so if any one wants me todo and specific tests with certain CPU's let me know this was all done by me, with the help of my processor's (AMD Athlon 64 3800+, AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE 3.2Ghz), Brandon's Processor (AMD Phenom II x 3 Heka 3.2Ghz BE), and Bryan's (AMD Phenom II x2 Calisto 3.2Ghz BE).... :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
