Is there any particular reason you chose micro-ATX over ATX? As a gaming PC, ATX will offer you much more flexibility and more options(more USB ports, PCi-e lanes, headers, cooling options and support for larger cards). Micro-ATX also limits your upgradability as you will almost certainly be limited by size when you choose upgrades.

Actually cards can vary greatly in size from 5" all the way to 12". The larger card's tend to only fit in Mid-Tower or bigger cases.

Here is a size comparison of 8800GT's from different manufacturers.

PNY - GeForce 8800GT - 512 MB - 8.5"

XFX - GeForce 8800 GT - 512 MB - 9"

BFG - GeForce 8800 GT - 512 MB - 9"

PALIT - GeForce 8800 GT - 512 MB - 8.5"

Yes but if your case only supports micro ATX chances are its a smaller case and there might be some problems with the size...

EDIT - Looked it up: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156241&Tpk=RAIDMAX%20Quantum

It's a Mid-Tower and supports ATX, hard to tell which build you're going with but should be fine.

Also if your willing to put in an extra $20-$50 i'd definitely go with a GTX 460. As detailed in this review http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-460-gf104-fermi,2684-14.html the GTX 460 outperforms the GTX 465 and uses less power and produces comparatively less heat. The galaxy version of that card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162056 It's about $20 more than your 465.
