I do have some pics of my stereo though, a Pioneer 5800MP deck w/ 4 Polk DB-Series (2x DB650 6.5's up front and 2x DB690 6x9's in the rear) speakers and a Kicker KM10 10" Sub wired through a 700-watt, 5-channel Kicker ZX700.5 Amp... Unfortunately, it caught fire about a week ago and it's currently sitting in a junkyard. When I get home I'll post some pics of my ghetto jeep. She sold her car before she left, and when she came back she had $38 in her bank account. So lucky me after I purchased my parking spot at my apartment here at school, I find out that my parents thinks she needs the car "Only until she can find a job!" Fair enough, few months pass and she finds a temp job 30 minutes away...awesome. So currently there is am empty parking spot I am paying $50 a month for because my twixter sister cannot figure out what she wants to do with her life. (She claims she is writing a book) So I own no car anymore. But after I graduate or if somehow I can afford one soon one of these will prolly be mine. My system is setup so that my single 10" gets fed ~300 solid watts @ 4 Ohms and each of my speakers are on separate channels and ~80 watts @ 4 Ohms each. I can throw the fade up into one corner and still have crisp, clear music loud enough to make everyone outside a little angry or jealous. Because I work for a boat dealer, I've gotten some good deals on certain parts, although the only Marine-specific component is my Sub, which is the same thing as a regular Subwoofer except that its water-resistant. The Kicker ZX Amp is mounted on the back of the custom-built single-port Sub box built by Seasick Wake Accessories of Sacramento, CA to fit my Accord's trunk. Every component was installed professionally by The Sound Shop of Sacramento. My $1,500+ system is installed in a car I bought for $500...don't tell the neighbors. I got two 6.5" kentwoods in the hatch and two 5.5" jensens (sp?) in the front doors. Both are top-of-the-line tweeter/woofer twin speakers, great audio. Just saving up my cents for a new receiver and woofer. 240k miles and 20 years on it and still running strong. "A jeep isn't stuck, it's just in the wrong gear." I got 1000 watts to the 2 subs and 500 watts to the EV(Brand of the "giant speaker" lol) It sounds nice, but i still need to tweek it a little bit, since I got a new head unit. I just wanted more dynamic sound out of my system, fortunately the benefits of it are worth the $1,500 I paid. I actually had the head unit, speakers and XM installed about 8 months before acquiring and adding the amp, sub, and box. I had the speakers and head unit rewired when the other stuff was installed to limit engine noise, but I still get weird sounds (not really that bad) when certain items are on, like the rear window defroster and a little whine varying with engine speed, which fortunately isn't noticeable unless the defroster is on. They came with my car when i bought it, so I added the EV to save the speakers lol. I actaully didnt pay a penny for my system. My neighbor has a garage full of used subs, EVs, headunits, TVs, etc ..
