All my life (which hasn't been very long) I have been a Coors Lite fan. All of my legal drinking career (which hasn't been long either) I've been a Bud Light fan because Im a poor cheap bastard. Now my request is (because I start getting pay again soon!!) some of you more salty characters recommend me some good beers to try. To give you a hint to my liking I'll tell you I'm a big fan of Dos XX's.. it rocks my world but it isn't 5.57 for a six pack so I only buy it on special occasions. Anyways.. fire away!

I hate Sam Adams, horrible taste IMO. Flying Dog In-Heat Wheat (Doggystyle is also good) Shocktop Carlsberg [url=http://www.frederiksamuel.com/blog/images/carlsberg_pearl.jpg]It's probably the best beer in the world[/url] But i mostly drink Keystone since its cheap and i like the taste (not gunna argue with a taste for cheap beer)

well i like warsteiner or becks for the fact. or some Paulaner. dont like american beer too much its doesnt isnt really what a beer should be like different versions of sam adams come close tho. and this american drink you call light beer is just water wih flavor, no beer inside

Magic Hat, Leinenkugel, Yuengling, Miller Lite, PBR, Guiness, Sam Adams Winter are among my faves. But I have no problem just grabbing a ML esp when it's $1-2 All in all, I won't turn down a microbrew or any beer for that matter. For those who say hard liquor > beer, that's true for people who only drink to get drunk. But some of us enjoy the taste of a ice cold beer, and you can easily have a couple and be sober. I've had Doggystyle when I was in Charlotte, and I'm a fan. Dos Equis commercials are hilarious. A lot of Busch Light in college to throw ruit.

I had this discussion with TMI and a few other people the other day, if ur gonna have a beer why have a light beer?? I'm personally a grolsch or san miguel fan. Liquor is what you want at parties and such, but beer is a nice cold drink to have round the house, especially when gaming :)

I have gotten accustomed to ML. Dunno if you were talking to me. I know it's not the best, but for some reason I enjoy it enough to have it be my go to beer if I am not interested in seeing the selection. I do get mad when they only serve Bud tho haha

U only like ML because you're in Chicagoland. I swear every kid and their parents in high school drank miller light. Once i got to college I drank a bud light and i wondered why anyone would go back to ML, it truly is terrible IMO. Tho my friend did buy a pack of the vortex bottles to use as a conversation starter a few weekends ago haha. I drink liquor when i'm ready to get sauced, but most days I'd just rather have a beer or two after work. Also if you're going to drink liquor Sailor Jerry's when it comes to rum and Southern Host (thats right [b]Host[/b]) will **** u up after 2 drinks. Mix with Mountain Dew and ur solid. Also all you euros bashing on our beer, see in the past 100 years mankind has developed this thing called a Refrigerator or "fridge" or "ice box" either way when you put stuff in it, like beer, it gets cold! Oh my how delicious beer is when its not served at room temperature.

Haha, my parents don't drink but you are probably right Xander about it having to do with being from Chicago. It's funny how it works, cause I think bud is terrible, but drinkable. But then I love me a PBR or Old Style any day as well. Both blue moon and red stripe are good choices as well.

Ugh.. Me and Sailor Jerry had to many meetings sophomore year. He inspired us to do some.. questionably legal things. Pabst is the perfect bro beer.. cause everyones doing it. Like bros. And anything brewed (or nominally located near) Vermont tastes like shit to me.. Longtrail tastes like the dirt off my hiking boots. I wouldn't tell that to any vermonsters up there though cause they'd take it as a compliment. I tried Arrogant Bastard Ale the other day and that stuff was legit gross.. But I spent money on it so I downed that *****. Anyone got some info on Ranger India Pale Ale? Critiques? Looks interesting but I want an opinion before I pay 9 bucks for a six pack that wont see me through the night.

My dad is a Sox fan so I was raised to like them. In general i don't care for baseball at all, I find it horribly boring, and tis the only professional sport next to bowling you can have a potbelly in and still be considered successful. That being said at least the Sox can win a championship in a 100 year period. Cubs fans still cheer even though their team sucks year after year. I like it when they make the playoffs so all the cubs fans get all excited and "THIS IS THE YEAR" and then go on to watch them get swept in the 1st round. Its a terrible franchise that just happens to have a huge fan base of zombies who will buy any and all merchandise for a team who in all honesty should be moved down to the minors.

+1 for Arrogant Bastard. Actually, just about any Stone brew is pretty solid by draught... the bottled stuff ain't so great. My "favorite" brews are too expensive or too hard to find to drink on a regular basis. My favorite standby beers are probably Fuller's London Porter... Green Flash's Hop-Head Red IPA... a couple of Sierra Nevada and RedHook brews... I probably drink more Sams than anything else... a pretty darn good compromise between cheap and tasty, if you ask me. Lately, I find myself drinking American brews almost exclusively, probably because I suffered through three years of crap like Asahi Super-Dry, Red Horse and Chang's.... (vomit)
