The Commanding Officer of the Unknown Soldiers has reposed special trust and confidence in the patriotism, valor, fidelity and professional excellence of Shorev. In view of these qualities and his demonstrated leadership potential and dedicated service to the Unknown Soldiers and Charlie Company, he is, therefore, promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant O-2, effective immediately. Shorev has proven over the last several months that whether or not his company game makes it easy, he will keep the company itself steadily moving forward. In Charlie Company I see people who know how to stay strong even while their game steadily lost community support almost from the moment it launched, and then weathered a year and half of watching the game slowly turn itself around. That kind of thing comes from the top and it shows me that the LT is setting the right tone and leading from the front. With that, he has definitely earned this promotion to 1LT.
