CSM.Vanarambaion is to be promoted to O-2, First Lieutenant and appointed Alpha Company Commanding Officer.

"The Joint Chiefs Staff of the Unknown Soldiers has reposed special trust and confidence in the patriotism, valor, fidelity and professional excellence of CSM.Vanarambaion. In view of these qualities and his demonstrated leadership potential and dedicated service to the Unknown Soldiers and Alpha Company, he is, therefore, promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant O-2 and will be Commanding Officer of Alpha Company, effective immediately."

CSM.Vanarambaion has been an outstanding member from the onset. He joined the clan when the clan was in need of leaders and quickly rose to distinguish himself. He's been up and down the ranks and paygrades, holding numerous positions. He was the Navy CO, the Division CO, the Division Sergeant Major, and now the Brigade Sergeant Major. His work has been difficult, but he's distinguished himself as a talented leader able to motivate and grow those that he leads. This is a formalization of the position he's been holding for the past several weeks and it's good to see Alpha Company, once again, with a full chain of command. Good luck, Lieutenant!

Battalion Awards

 

For his outstanding service to the clan and his agility in serving out the needs of the clan, 1LT.Vanarambaion is to be awarded the Special Service Medal.

At the risk of repeating myself given his promotion citation, 1LT.Vanarambaion is deserving of this award for the variety of roles - both command and advisoral - he's held. He always steps up to the plate and does what needs to be done, regardless of the cost to himself - be that his sanity or his rank. He's an outstanding recruiter, leader, and motivator and has done great work so far in Alpha Company, but has much further to go. You are, by definition, a role model for others in this clan. Thank you for all that you do, Lieutenant Vanrambaion.
