Rarely are there members that come along and willing to take on any responsibility thrust at them, even if they know that it is not the best for them. Maj.Buckshot as always been that member. Whether it was from when he first came back to Active Duty with Intel, or when he moved over to the Air Force to help them grow and lead them. Even his latest venture leading Intel was not an easy one for him with the constant flux the clan was in since he took over, but he took the responsibility and promised to give it his best, which he always has done. A jack of all trades, that we have had the pleasure of having with us for quite some time. He has mentored many, many members while in the clan, many of which have grown to take on leadership responsibilities themselves. If you ask any of them, they will tell you that Maj.Buckshot has always set the example for them. The Special Services Medal is the highest leadership award this clan can give a member and its description states:

 

This soldier demonstrates leadership in all areas of the clan. He always makes effort to help the clan grow, and takes the initiative to help others maintain clan participation with events, practices, and informative training materials. He is a role model of leadership for Unknown Soldiers.

 

If this does not sum up the Major, I don't know what does. On this day of his retirement, it is an honor to award Major Buckshot the Special Services Medal.
