Guest Scars Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Sometimes when I want to check the forums I notice it recognizes me as being logged in but I'm unable to read or post in clan sections. Is it a trouble with the cookies or something? Thanks in advance.

Guest Jazm Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 what graphics you gonna have?, the mobo, proc, and ram looks good although you should get at least 8 gigs of ddr2
Guest RET.SSgt. 8_Ball Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 My video card is a Geforce Gts 250 1 gig and all my other stuff is like 3/4 years old.. so im replacing everything but ( video card, power supply and the ram im just gonna buy the 4 gigs to add to what i have already) to make it 6 gigs total
Guest Ret.Maj.Xander=US= Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 In all honestly, yeah this would've been a good setup a few years back. But your CPU is 3 generations old, the RAM is 1 generation behind, the only thing u got going for u is the video card. You should make the switch to a core i5. That way you will get a board with DDR3 memory as well. Plus you are paying way too much for DDR2 RAM. I got 4 GB of DDR3 for $15 cheaper. Why aren't u shopping at newegg anyway? Also you will NOT need more than 4GB of RAM. Maybe in 1-2 years you could use a bit more, but unless your doing some serious movie editing, 3D modeling, or graphic designs you wont need more than 4GB. I actually only have 3 sticks in because triple channel works faster that way.
Guest RET.1SG.Ranger=US= Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 8 Ball, how much are you able to spend on a new rig? I just ordered one from a custom builder in Michigan, they guy is a uber computer nerd, and is custom making my rig to what I liked, overclocked, tested, and go to go.
Guest RET.SSgt. 8_Ball Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 all i really need is processor, mobo, case and ram.. and Os i dont wanna spend over.. hmm 500
Guest Krawll Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I can only suggest you Get a cracked version of your OS. Other wise I don't think you will be able to get "this generations" PC. That means being able to play all game at max graphics.
Guest RET.SSgt. 8_Ball Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 i found windows 7 for 109 on new egg..
