Guest StealthF117
What's the easiest way to get rid of a boot sector virus. I've tried many antivirus tools and I don't think they're getting rid of it. I found a low level scan program for the western digital HDD, but I'm afraid to put it in another PC as I don't want it to infect my other drives. Little help? Guest RET.COL.SilverEupher=US=
LCpl, Spybot or TDSSKiller didn't detect it? The most reliable way to get rid of one is to do a low level format of the drive after you backup only the files you need. Scan them with a few tools before backing up. Guest StealthF117
I'll give those a try, thank you sir. I attempted a low level format but it wouldn't do it with windows on the drive. I think I would have to use it as a slave drive to do that?
