Only Rule - No Bilboard top 40's How to tell if your song was a billboard top 100: 1. Go to:http://www.song-database.com/index.php 2. Search your song title 3. You will get a list of results like this (if you don't' get a result you are good to go)http://i.imgur.com/NPltKRt.png 5. The red box shows an example of a no-go. As you see its a "Hot 100" above 40. The green box is fine because its a different chart and not the "Hot 100".

This album was #1 on billboard top 200 albums list but the song never hit the billboard top 100 so it slides.
