Guest RET.Maj.Buckshot=US= Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 RULES You can change your answers anytime but whenever you edit your answers your time is reset (ie if you change your answers on 6JAN14 you are only eligible for 50 pts for the Super Bowl). To avoid confusion, if ANY answers (ie entire post) are edited beyond the dates set, your time is reset. The Superbowl is worth a lot of points because 12 Teams can get in at this point...The odds are not good, the points go down as we move on because when you know who is playing each game, the odds go up to 50/50. However, if you made your picks prior to week 1, any picks you get right are worth the original points. (ie you chose Denver to win the Superbowl on 3JAN14 and they win it all, you win 100 pts for choosing correctly before the playoffs started. If you chose them to win on 20JAN14, you will only win 10 pts due to the downscale) ONLY answers posted here will count...points will be tallied up weekly after the games...if your answer is not posted by the START of the weeks games it will not count. In your case, BG, if you don't change your answers and Denver wins the Superbowl you will receive 100 points. However, if you change your answers this week, you would only get 50 points for the same win. It keeps people in the race even if they missed the first week. The reason for the high points if you don't change your answers is because the odds are riskier the further away the game is...we started with 12 possible teams that could win the Superbowl, now there are 8, hence the higher point possibility last week.
