Guest RET.Realgrunt=US=
My nephew is trying to install Steam on his computer. Every time he tries to install he gets an error saying steam files are already installed. He cleaned his registry yet still gets the error. I checked the Steam forums but didn't find anything that helped. Any ideas?
Guest RET.Maj.Skyler=US=
Make sure there are no Steam files anyway on the computer. Right click the installer and run as administrator. If it still says this then go to your control panel and 'Add or remove programs' look for Steam in there to fully delete it.

Guest Krawll
If he has windows 7, install it in Program Files, not Program files X96 or whatever it is.
