Hey Xander, actually you don't need SLI for this card. It's a single card with 2 gpu. You'd only need SLI if you wanted to Quad it. I'm not sure how much Senth wants for it, but I'm sure it will be reasonable, and you could always pick it up in person since we do live in the western burbs.

Ah I thought my board only had NVIDIA SLi and not ATI CrossOver but its the other way around. This is my board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131386&Tpk=ASUS%20P6-T%20SE This is my card (i think its XFX tho) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130339&cm_re=Geforce_9800_GTX%2b-_-14-130-339-_-Product Otherwise I might've taken u up on that. I was going home July 4th weekend so I would've been around there.

I may be mistaken, but I think it works even on non Nvidia boards. So I think this will work on your board as well. It basically just looks at it as 1 video card and all the "sli" is onboard on the card itself so it doesn't require an actual Nvidia chipset. Either way, if you are around July 4th, let's meet up and grab some brews or something if you are free. Senth will be able to answer better though. And bring hillbilly curbstomp with you! haha

hahaha that doesnt sound too bad. but looking it up it seems my board is a SE (Special Addition) because Asus didn't have to pay NVIDIA fees for it which is why it is cheaper than other P6T boards. http://www.trustedreviews.com/motherboards/review/2009/06/11/Asus-P6T-SE/p1 But that weekend i'll only be home for 2 days and it will be filled with drinking, family, friends, and possibly a Dave Matthews show lol. If im ever there for an extended period of time i'll take u up on that offer.

The card will support your mobo but the card eats alot of juice. so make sure you have enough power. at least 500w. yeah the card is pre-sli config so dont need to worry about putting a bridge. The gpu is 8800 ULTRa x2 pre slied. If u have enough power i would put this card as main and use ur 9800gtx for physx, you got 3 pcie so 2 of them will still run x16 each if your doing this need psu atleast 700watts. also it need 8 pin and 6pin vga power cord.
