Guest Lynch
I have the same controller. It is great. there are alot of programable buttons that are saved depending on the game your playing. It is IMO the best one on the market for what we do with it. Guest Lynch
SGT.MAGZ why can you not use the throttle. (the thing on the left) as it plugs into the actual controller. so there is only one usb needed.

Guest Ret.Maj.Xander=US=
The Logitech 3D Pro is an amazing joystick. But the calibration BLOWS. I went through 6 of them in a 4 month period. I played Mech Warrior 4 a lot back in the day and I got that joystick and it was amazing, great precision and good resistance making it more prone to small movements. The calibration always gave out though, you'd start to always lean forward or backwards, and the software calibration didn't fix much of anything. After awhile I just gave up on it. Took my store credit for it, then found a Microsoft Sidewinder on eBay. I got that over 5 years ago and it still works great. I am so pissed MS stopped making joy's because they were easily the best on the market.
Guest ArmyGrunt
Does the sidEwinder have a throttle? That's what I want. Would like to find a nice one like that.
Guest Ret.Maj.Xander=US=
yea its a circular throttle to the left of the base, i'll just take a pic of mine. pardon the dust i don't use it very often. if i fly a chopper in BC2 i use keyboard (no mouse)
Guest ArmyGrunt
Guess it's best to buy a cheaper one than buy an expensive one. Plus less room it takes up. I wanted to find something that would work well in arma 2 as well. I think I'll go check best buy tonight and see what they got.

Guest Lynch
I have not tried the saitek x52 in the bfbc2 arena. But i do not see it being a problem as ALL the buttons and throttle are easily programmable
