Hello,

I've got my old pc that I want to upgrade and clean up a bit, so I had some cool idea. Install LED strips! I have no clue about how much my PSU can take so I need advice.

Since yesterday I bought these 2 LED strips that are 12v each, and I want to install them on my 2 4-pin connectors of my PSU (VS450, http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vs-seriestm-vs450-450-watt-power-supply)

I don't know if I need to inform some more about my other specs, I'll just put the links down below. I just don't want to fry anything in my rig before I attach my led strips.

LED strip information;

Color: Groen

Light Intensity: 280 lm

Voltage: 12 V

Power consumption: 0.4 A / meter

Power per meter: 4.8 W / meter

Width: 8 mm

Thickness: 3 mm

Advice and information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

just don't. and if you do, separate from your computer components. Separate wires and everything

Unless you have a lot of experience in doing it I recommend not. You could touch the case and then fry everything. You need to make sure you do a lot of research on LED installs. I recommend not just for the sake of costing you the whole computer if one touches anything.
