Guest Hornet117
While randomly browsing the internet from the safety of my locked door, quite room, and inversely loud mind; I stumbled across this incredibly long list on buzzfeed.com that described me and my personality flawlessly. As there is nobody else in the room with me, I thought I'd share it with you all! For those of you that hate ridiculously long lists, are not interested in sarcasm, or simply don't wish to know more about me; save time and exit now. Fair warning, my sense of humor is unique to my personality type, so while I personally was laughing throughout this list, you probably won't. Your loss! *warning* occasional f-bombs are dropped. http://www.buzzfeed.com/newu1671/80-signs-youre-an-intj-cz0z

Guest Hornet117
'fraid so. The best way I describe myself is a closet-case INTJ with well-developed empathy. That empathy helps me over-ride the classic INTJ "honest blunt response* that most people find obnoxious. I still think it though.
Guest RET.CW4.ThievingSix=US=
As an INTJ myself, i'd be interested to see if there is a correlation between people who enjoy military realism and personality types. I find the test below is pretty good and easy to do compared to others. Would be cool if we could get most of the clan to do it. http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

Guest StubbornOx1
Yeah their explanations are really good, but I'm not a huge fan of the sliders. It's accurate Sir. I have taken it 3 times with several months in between and gotten the same answer each time. I guess that is just my own testimonial though. Guest RET.Maj.ShadowOp=US=
I took both and got INFJ. Ultimately it is just a game of balances so whether they are yes or no, or sliders shouldn't make a difference. If you lean more strongly to one side then the slider will lean that way, whereas in the multiple choice you would have said yes or no depending on what side you lean. Therfore it affects the balance in pretty much the same way.
Guest Hornet117
More or less what the Captain said. I find the sliders interesting because, as I'm sure you are aware, a person is never "all the way" one trait. These tests simply gauge towards with traits your personality leans to. The sliders are nice because they help you understand which of your traits are more dominate. The downside being that it is less "decisive" of a methodology and (from what I understand) most of us INTJs really appreciate straight-forward and distinctive decisions. Guest RET.CW4.ThievingSix=US=
I just took both tests and got INTJ on the human metrics test and i was 50% N 50% S, then i took the 16 personalities test and got ISTJ where i was only 40% N 60% S. I also just took the preclude character analysis and got ISTJ. So perhaps sliders are useful for borderline cases. But looking at the analysis of the two types they're essentially the same or have similar characteristics.
Guest RET.Maj.SKI=US=
I took both test. ISTJ on both. Wow ... this is called opening up isn't it. :)
Guest Hornet117
I like to think of it as learning about ourselves. I don't think I need to quote what the Art of War has to say on that subject. :)
Guest RET.Maj.ShadowOp=US=
Maj, We've done this before at some point, there was a personality test thread before on here somewhere from a while back.
Guest RET.CW4.ThievingSix=US=
http://clanunknownsoldiers.com/barracks/showthread.php?14146-Jung-Typology-Test Interestingly I have become more sensing since 2010. The overall results from 2010 were; INTJ - 4 (25% of the clan, 2% of population) INTP - 4 (25% of the clan, 3% of population) ISTJ - 2 (12.5% of the clan, 13% of population) ESTP - 2 (12.5% of the clan, 4% of population) INFJ - 1 (6.25% of the clan, <1% of population) ISFJ - 1 (6.25% of the clan, 13% of population) ENFJ - 1 (6.25% of the clan, 2% of population) ENFP - 1 (6.25% of the clan, 7% of population) 16 people took the test. The most common types were INTP and INTJ, yet they are among the least common types worldwide. It would be interesting to get everyone to do it again with a larger sample size. Guest RET.LT.Padarom=US=
I'm pretty sure there was another thread about this 2013, not just the 2010 one. According to the first test I'm INTJ, the second test says I'm ENTJ Edit: http://clanunknownsoldiers.com/barracks/showthread.php?t=23359 Not quite as many answers, but at least a couple more. Guest StubbornOx1
We should start a new poll with a few different personality test links and see what comes up. Or possibly just add a poll to this thread. Since you created this thread Sergeant Hornet, would you do the honors? If not I will. I'm curious if there are any other ISTP's in the clan. :)
